If that field is not available, we will use Block 50 field at Ngee Ann Poly instead. I will sms u guys by 3pm if there are any changes (i.e. change field, cancel due to low attendance/poor weather). To the senior members of the team, i've invited the BB Boys from Princess Elizabeth Primary School to join us. As some of them are probably better than some of us, better be mentally prepared ya? PEPS Boys gg to soccer, meet at Bukit Batok Presbyterian Church at 3.30pm. Latecomers will not be entertained.

here are the details for this coming sunday's match:

Venue: Ngee Ann Main Field
Attire: White Top. No restriction on bottom
Meeting Time: 4pm
Match type: 11-a-side, 90min, rolling subs
Opponents: BB 84th Company, 2nd team

There will be another match played from 2.30pm onwards between BB 84th, 1st Team against another church team. Come and watch if you like.

Tentative team strategy: (please feel free to voice ur opinions on team strategy)
Formation: 4 - 5- 1
Mentality: Cautious for first 15 min. Play quick attack during next 30 min. Short passing during 2nd half.
Focus: The opponents are small sized but skilfull and quick. Use early long balls into the box and hold up the ball whenever possible. Outpass them, don't try to out-manouevre them.

Please read the file that i'd attached below for some basic defensive tactics. I think all of us shd be responsible for knowing those stuff.

very disappointed that we did not manage to have a training session during the past Sunday...Let's hope that God will bless us with drier weather during the coming Sunday.
Anyways, we'll most probably be having a match soon. Details are as follows:

Date: 27th August 2006 (Sunday)

Kickoff: 4.30pm - 6pm
Assemble: 4pm at Ngee Ann Stadium

As we'll be having this match soon, we need to step up our training. We'll be focusing on defensive organization during the coming week.

Hey all, very encouraged by the turnout today..it was great to see everyone putting in their part and gg abt e training routines w/o complaints. I believe commitment is always a sign of a gd team. =)
On a technical aspect, today's training session was focused more on getting a general feel of play on the field. I think most of us are still very used to court soccer but no worries, practice always makes perfect. Some of the passing movements showed that you all have responded well to the experience, which is very encouraging.
Thank God that e Block 50 field seems rather decent and adequate to our purposes. According to the feedback today (barring e one abt bringing mosquito coils) we shall endeavour to hold our trainings from 4-6pm.
Hope that everyone doesn't mind me taking charge of e initial training sessions. Just trying to share what I'd been taught. I feel quite paiseh to be e "trainer" when I'm not a good player in e 1st place. Must apologize for one big mistake that i made today: I forgot to PRAY! Please remind me e next time ya? =P
